The breast is yet to come

This fledgling robin, like many of the young birds in the garden, is more tolerant of human curiosity than its adult counterparts. Perched less than two feet away in the apple tree it posed for some time before hopping off into the branches.

  1. Hi Mark, I've found your post about fledged robin you posted un june 2014 and the image is perfect to help garden's birdwatcher to ID young robin. I would use it on my blog, on a post about Robin ID. I've myself some good shots of young robin but not as young as yours. Can I use it with the right credits like "©Mark Wilkinson / thebadgerseye.com – 06/14" ?
